In the morning of January 21, 2019 a very cold Winter Day, a 10-75 was transmitted for a fire in a warehouse in the College Point section of Queens. Squad Company 288 received a ticket to respond before the 10-75 was transmitted because of the number of calls received by the dispatcher.

FDNY FIREFIGHTER Robert Puckett, Ladder Co. 103

On December 30, 2018 in the early afternoon, Engine Co. 290 and Ladder Co. 103 were assigned to a phone alarm for a fire at 619 Warwick Street in East New York, Brooklyn. As the companies were approaching the address they noticed a haze in the street, which turned out to be a fire in a two story flat roof private dwelling.

At 0300 hours on July 29, 2019 Queens Box 7957 was transmitted reporting a fire on the fifth floor at 88-35 Elmhurst Ave. E289 and TL138 were both assigned 1st due. As the inside team of TL138 consisting of Captain John Speck, FF Edwin Rodriguez (138 Irons) and FF Joseph Zanca (138 Can) entered the building civilians were seen exiting the front door.

If a firefighter gets the opportunity to be involved in the rescue of another firefighter that will be the highlight of his or her career and something they will remember forever. On April 3,2021 at 0218 hours the Queens dispatcher began receiving numerous calls for a fire in a commercial building in the St. Albans neighborhood in south Queens.

At a few minutes after 5 am on August 17, 2019, Engine Co. 63, Ladder Co. 39 and Battalion 15 received a run for a phone alarm reporting fire in a private dwelling in the northern Bronx. While the units were responding the Bronx dispatcher informed them there were reports of people trapped.
